Metacognition

What does it mean to be metacognitive?

•The definition of metacognition is this:The awareness and understanding one's thinking and cognitive processes; thinking about thinking.

•So, to be metacognitive, in my own words, is to be understanding what your partner is thinking. When someone is talking/ your partner for a project, you could understand how that are saying things and you know how to respond to them.

  1. Alyssa,

How do you think metacognition relates to knowing about your own thinking?
